A Behind the Scenes Look at Real Stone and Granite

Hi everyone, my name is Jennifer.  I am an artist, homemaker and writer. I have always been interested in design and entertaining.  I regularly enjoy looking at magazines, blogs, Pinterest and watching home improvement shows to get inspiration for simple ideas for simple craft projects as well as larger remodeling jobs.  Over the last few years in my home, we have redone our floors, painted every room and remodeled our garage to include loads of extra storage and usable work space.

I have been given the opportunity to work with Jose D. Ubilla and his team at Real Stone & Granite as well as scouring the latest trends in home design and showcase some of Florida’s best design, products, services and people I encounter along the way that I think will allow new ideas to flourish in your home and life.

For Real Stone & Granite I am going to be writing blog entries to help you as a consumer to know more about this great company and what they have to offer.  I want to help you decide on products by exploring new inventory as well as the interesting pieces that you don’t usually get to see.  I will be giving you helpful hints and tips as well as industry market news on things that will help you with entertaining and redesigning your space.   I look forward to sharing all of this information with you and would love to hear back from you!

This week I met with Jose D. Ubilla, owner of Real Stone & Granite.  I wanted to learn more about the products and artisan skills his company brings to the world of stone and granite.  I must admit the only experience I have had with this line of products was seeing it at my box stores and then when I went looking for a backsplash to an already existing granite countertop in my kitchen.

Many times consumers have a very limited choice in what they get to choose from when it comes to countertops. You can go to the box stores or the handful of smaller local shops and choose, but the options are still limited in color/stone choices as well as cuts/edging.

I was blown away by the availability of choices I got to look at and ogle over.  I felt like I was on an HGTV show and getting to see all the pretty options! They have granite, natural stone, recycled material as well as man-made faux stone and granite.

So many great options available at Real Stone and Granite.

Not only do you have loads of choices but you also get to choose your edging.  I’m not just talking about beveled edging, but elaborate edging.  They can even make mouldings and baseboards out of these materials, which is something you will not find anywhere else.  This company uses the most advanced machines from Italy which provide them with the ability to create many designs that your typical box store and most local owned stores simply cannot.

Real Stone & Granite is a great place to go to get exactly what you are looking for.  It may be a bit more money than what you would pay at the box stores… but the value you get in customer service and product quality is well worth it.

I am looking forward to working with Jose and his great team to get you tons of information that will inspire you to think outside the box!
